What is included in BYRSAN’s 12-Month Guarantee for their products?

BYRSAN’s’ 12-Month Guarantee covers repair services for issues such as fading or chipping of painted elements on their products. 

Other components, because they are from discontinued vintage models, may be irreparable, with no replacement parts available. If discontinued pieces break within the guarantee period, BYRSAN will try to replace them with other parts that maintain the unique character of the bag.

Please keep in mind that the guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear on the bag, and we cannot repair leather marks or stains. This also excludes the softening of the bag’s shape with use, which is common with leather goods, because these are not quality issues.

This guarantee ensures free collection, repair, and return within the initial 12 months of purchase. A valid purchase receipt is required for this service.

How does BYRSAN handle repairs for their products after the initial 12-month period?

Our products are safely shipped worldwide. 

During the holidays your order may take an additional 5 days to arrive.

UK 

Standard delivery is FREE (2-3 business days, 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri).

EU/EEA

We offer free shipping to EU/EEA countries, Switzerland, and Norway. This includes all duties and import taxes at checkout, eliminating the need to pay them upon delivery.

USA 

Standard Delivery is FREE (4-5 Business Days, 9am-6pm, Monday–Friday)

Express Delivery: $20 (1-3 Business Days, 9am-6pm, Monday–Friday)

All import duties and taxes for the United States are included in the price displayed at checkout.

REST OF THE WORLD

FREE standard shipping via courier: (4-6 working days, 9am-6pm, Monday through Friday).

Express Delivery: 2-5 Business Days, depending on destination,  Monday through Friday.

We ship with duties paid to the rest of the world, which means that all duties are included in the price at checkout and you will not have to pay them upon delivery.

Taxes & Customs

All prices on byrsan.com include import taxes and duties. This means that you should not be charged any additional fees upon delivery. 

For UK orders, VAT is included in the prices and calculated during checkout. There are no import duties or taxes on UK orders. If the order is returned, the customer will receive a full refund, including any local sales taxes charged. 

EU orders: Sales tax is included in prices and calculated at checkout. There are no import duties or taxes for EU orders. If the order is returned, the customer will receive a full refund, including any local sales taxes charged. 

Since Brexit, all orders arriving in a member country of the European Union must go through a customs clearance process that requires no payment. DHL or UPS will contact you via email and request a few documents, which may vary depending on the local customs authority (tax code, ID card, proof of payment, power of attorney, EORI number). 

If you do not live in the country to which the order is shipped and are unable to provide the necessary documents, you can appoint a broker to clear the parcel on your behalf. Please keep in mind that you will be responsible for paying a clearance fee that BYRSAN cannot cover.

BYRSAN is unable to provide the required documents on your behalf because it is a requirement that only the receiver can meet. The courier company can always offer assistance with the clearance process.

We are here to help and will always go out of our way to resolve any issues you may have with your order as quickly as possible.

For all other international orders, taxes and duties are included in the final price, with no additional charges at checkout or delivery. Our couriers may contact you with a request for additional information to ensure compliance with local customs laws and requirements. Please provide all necessary information to ensure that your order can be cleared through customs.

BYRSAN insures all purchases until delivery. Any goods delivered require a signature, at which point you assume responsibility for the items you purchased. If you specify a recipient other than yourself for delivery purposes (e.g., gifts), you accept their signature as proof of delivery and transfer all liability to them.

Returns / Refunds / Exchanges

Returns

Get quick and easy returns on all orders within 20 days of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bags that have been worn and/or are outside of the 20-day return period.

Extended Returns

Please keep in mind that our holiday return period has been extended until January 31st for full refunds. All UK and US orders, as well as in Europe and the rest of the world, are eligible for free returns.

We accept returns on full-priced items that are unused, in their original packaging, and returned within 20 days of purchase.

All items must be returned in pristine, new-like resalable condition, unused, and in their original packaging (including boxes and dust bags), with tags and protective film still attached to the hardware. We cannot exchange or refund items that are damaged – scratched, worn, not in their original packaging, or missing any packaging. 

BYRSAN reserves the right to refuse any returns of merchandise that do not meet our return requirements. If your return is not accepted, it will be returned to you, and no refund will be issued.

INTERNATIONAL 

Please follow the return instructions listed below.

  1. Please complete the returns/exchange form included in your package and enclose it with the items you want to return.
  2. Fill out your returns commercial invoice using the guide included with your order and attach it to the outside of the parcel.
  3. To arrange a collection, go to www.ups.com or take your return to your local UPS drop off location, along with the return label that came with your order.
  4. Please take note of the tracking number on the label for your records and to track your return.

UK

Refunds and Exchanges

We will process your refund as soon as possible and will send you an email to confirm that your return has been processed.

Unfortunately, we are unable to process exchanges. If you want to change the style you ordered, please return it and we will issue a refund for the original order. A new order must be placed. We are happy to place the new order over the phone; please contact us at +44 (0) 7492 931837.

PRODUCT CARE

Leather Care

Small creases and colour changes may occur with use, adding to its appeal. Although all of our leathers have been treated with water-resistant products, they have a natural finish and should not be exposed to water excessively. If the product becomes wet, please remove any remaining water with a dry cloth and let it dry naturally. Our leathers’ natural finish provides a soft and luxurious feel. 

If the leather becomes scratched or worn, apply leather cream (natural or coloured according to the colour of your bag). Before using, polish them with a dry cotton cloth to bring out their natural shine and remove any traces. Please test on a small surface at the bottom of the bag or somewhere inconspicuous to ensure that the leather cream you use is the correct colour and finish. Leather creams should not be used on matte leathers because they often leave a slightly shiny finish. 

Light colours should avoid contact with clothing with strong dyes, such as dark jeans, because they may stain the leather when rubbed against the fabric. We recommend professional cleaning services when necessary. To remove loose dirt, use a soft, dry cloth. Please keep away from heat and moisture and store in the BYRSAN dust bag in an upright position with paper stuffing, making sure all straps and chains are inside the bag to avoid marking the leather.
